In Heb. 5:11, right after introducing the concept of Jesus' High Priesthood being of the order of Melchizedek, the author criticized his recipients for being "dull of hearing". Before going on, he will spend the rest of Ch. 5 and all of Ch. 6 explaining and defending this criticism.
