Life. How we define, preserve, protect and value life is often, in my opinion, directly related to how well we have understood God and His Word to us. On the other hand, this subject as with all other similarly important ones is decided very differently when we have no anchor of absolute truth to which we moor our lives to. If the truth we follow is, in fact, centered on us and our own preservation/comfort/convenience/economics, then the direction we take in regards to abortion, euthanasia, or in fact simply how we value any other human will result in the rank ordering of our affections and treatment for people.
