Prayer 16 Moreover, I saw under the sun that in the place of justice, even there was wickedness, and in the place of righteousness, even there was wickedness. 17 I said in my heart, God will judge the righteous and the wicked, for there is a time for every matter and for every work. 18 I said in my heart…

Wisdom is the ability to have dominion over time. God has an appointed time for our breakthrough. When we spend time in the presence of God, having a personal relationship with God, we will be able to discern the times and seasons we are in. We will be able to redeem the time. Listen, as Pastor Julianna encourages us about the importance of time.
Because God knows and controls the seasons, we must learn to live within them We need to explore this control and then what it means to live in these seasons. The Book of Ecclesiastes
Mr Joe Goodale • Cornerstone Bible Church • Sermon • • 136 views • 45:21
This week Joe Goodale introduces the Book of Ecclesiastes. In this study we go over the Who, What, Where, and How of the book and look at the theme and purpose that the author wants to proclaim.
In Acts 12:1-25, Luke—the author of Acts—shares an important story about a prideful king, a sleeping preacher, and a praying church. Three incredible lessons emerge as we examine this passage: first, God expects His people to look to Him for help in difficult times. We see the church (once again in Acts) praying, instead of pouting, as trouble comes upon them. Secondly, God sustains His people with peace in the midst of trials. Peter—now for the third time in Acts—is in prison...and he’s sleeping! Only a heart resting in God’s grace and sovereignty can catch some “z’s” behind bars. Finally, God will humble man’s foolish pride and cause His word to go to the nations. King Herod is humbled (and eaten by worms) for his boasting and arrogance. God’s word steams on ahead as we’re now poised for Paul’s missionary journeys from Antioch.
We know in our finiteness, it is impossible many times to remember something that was said 5 minutes ago, much less something that has been given over the last four weeks in our journey of Ecclesiastes. However, within this finiteness God has given us resources so that the truth from these passages are…
The Big Reveal 1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; 2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. 14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him…
Camp program guys are always on the search for games that are unique to camp. In reflecting back on our beginning years at the camp in North Louisiana, I remember one such creative endeavor. At the center of the camp lay a 23 acre lake. The lake was pleasant to the eyes when watching the sun reflect…
What is it? Is it a good thing, bad thing? 32 “For the waywardness of the naive will kill them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them. 18 Discipline your son while there is hope, And do not desire his death. 12 “It will come about at that time That I will search Jerusalem with lamps, And I will…
