Galatians: SOAR! Faith Without Limits "The Gospel, Grace, Freedom"
I want to start this message by asking us to stand as we read the words from our passage today… Galatians 2:15-21 15 “We are Jews by nature and not sinners from among the Gentiles; 16 nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have…

INTRODUCTION God is no respecter of person, but He does make a distinction between the Righteous and the Wicked The Righteous are recognized by their Position where they walk where they stand where they sit The Righteous are recognized by their Passions Their delight is in the Law of the Lord It is always…
The work of salvation effecting our lives doesn't end after receiving Jesus into our hearts. It continues to save, not our hearts, but our minds from its old way of thinking. Let's invite the Word to explain how the Spirit transforms our minds through sanctification.
As we remember those who sacrificed their lives for our country, I also think about the families and friends of the fallen. I hear their stories as the watched the transformation of their loved ones from wild teenager to polished soldier. Many young recruits enter the military full of themselves with grand ideas of heroism. they are never the same after the few weeks of boot camp. Isn't that right? If no one can stand before God based on the Law (Romans 3:20); then we are all outlaws to God. This would be a hopeless and painful way to live. However, the propitiation of Christ (Romans 3:21-25) has purchased us peace with God. This means we have freedom from guilt, wrath, and are bestowed with the Spiritual blessings of God. (Romans 5:1-5) In particular, to verse 1, we should rejoice at the incredible hope we have in Christ. We have found peace with God by faith in Christ.

The world wants us to believe that justification is everything. Christ has a very different view on the meaning of Justification. Sinful, law-breaking humanity needs a means of justification because of its failure to keep God’s law and live up to God’s requirements.
