Commitment to Jesus Christ is grounded in the knowledge of his saving power and divinity, and expresses itself in adoration and obedience to Jesus Christ. True discipleship means we must surrender ourselves completely to Him; we must identify with Him in suffering and death; and we must follow Him obediently, wherever He leads.
