God exist as a TRINITY . When I first began to study the Bible years ago, the doctrine of the Trinity was one of the most complex problems I had to encounter. I have never fully resolved it, for it contains an aspect of mystery. Though I do not totally understand it to this day, I accept it as a revelation…

Although Christians have been set free from condemnation by grace, they remain under an obligation to be obedient to God. Abuses of Christian freedom result from a failure to take responsibilities towards God seriously.

By understanding Jesus’ nature as God and man, we will overcome false teachings about Jesus and trust him more. What does it mean when we say that Jesus is both God and man? Is Jesus a man who became God Is Jesus God indwelling a man? Is Jesus God appearing to be a man? Is Jesus a spiritual being ordered…
Redemption: How Jesus Frees Us
The Exodus is the defining act of salvation in the Old Testament, pointing forward to Jesus’ work of redemption on the cross where he delivers, ransoms, and renews his people. Like the Israelites in Egypt, we are living in enemy territory under a taskmaster who afflicts us. Afflicion is any problem or condition that produces suffering or pain. This includes things out of our control and things we’ve sinfully and/or foolishly chosen. Additionally religion is a major source of affliction for many Christians. But Jesus sees us and knows our affliction, and he ultimately rescues those who trust him.

The Need For Peace No matter what struggle men are involved in, and no matter how much men enjoy their struggle, there always is below their labour a wish for peace, a sense that peace is the final and ideal condition of all things. Joseph: God Intended It For Good
Dan Kroon • Willetton Christian Church • Sermon • • 17 views • 33:45
As we come to the end of our series on Joseph, we see one more time how the story points us, in many, many ways, to God’s bigger story of salvation. In the legacy of Jacob, the prophecy for Judah, the example of Joseph and the fulfilment of Jesus – we are given an incredible view of God’s sovereign plan. He meant it, used it, planned it, purposed it, designed it, resolved it and intended it for good. What good? For “the saving of many lives.” For salvation, deliverance and redemption. That’s what God intends for us. That’s what God will work through us. That’s what God has purposed us for. That’s what God will achieve in us. Throughout this series we have been stretching our vision (our view, our faith) to gain a bigger picture of God. So, in this conclusion, let’s stretch it to maximum capacity and see our lives completely wrapped up in God’s eternity-spanning story.
