Letter to a Scattered Church
3 sermons
James wrote a letter to "the twelve tribes, scattered among all the nations"—in other words, to Jewish-background followers of Jesus Christ who had been scattered out of Jerusalem and throughout the then-known world. They were dispersed largely because of persecution; we find ourselves scattered to our homes because of the coronavirus. But there are similarities, and James' words from 2000 years ago have great importance for us today.
